What should I know before ordering a personalized piece?

All custom and personalized pieces are made-to-order and final sale. Custom orders cannot be cancelled or altered after they are submitted. Additionally, custom items cannot be returned.

Are Willow & Luna's jewelry made out of real precious metals?

Yes, of course! All of our jewelry pieces that indicate Sterling Silver, 24k Gold Plating, Rose Gold Plating and 14k Gold precious metal options, are stamped with a 14K (gold) stamp or 0.925 (sterling silver) stamp.

• 14K Gold is 58% Gold (14/24) and bears the stamp 14K
• Sterling Silver is 92.5% pure silver (925/1000) and bears the stamp 925 or 0.925
• 24K Gold plating is a method of depositing a thin layer of gold on to the surface of sterling silver so it will bear the 925 or 0.925 stamp.

Is it worth making my pendant Double Thickness?

Although it costs a bit more, Willow & Luna definitely advises you to upgrade your 14K gold piece to double thickness for the sake of durability especially for longer names and words. The regular thickness is 0.4 mm while the double thickness is 0.8 mm. Jewelry pieces that we offer the double thickness upgrade will be shown on the product page.

Some of your products say they have Rhodium Plating; What is Rhodium Plating?

Rhodium plating is used to create a white reflective appearance on jewelry. As it is part of the platinum metal family, it is harder than gold so provides jewelry with a durable surface which resists scratches and tarnish. It is most commonly used to plate white gold as this metal naturally has a yellow tone, so by electroplating a layer of rhodium, the piece of jewelry will have a bright white finish.

Can I add a Swarovski crystal or diamond to my purchase?

Check out our Diamond and Birthstones name necklace collections. There are also some products in the "Love Necklaces" that you can personalize with a birthstone Swarovski crystal.

How long will it take to receive my order?

This all depends on whether your order has personalized items in it. Typically it takes 3 - 4 business days to create personalized items. Also, the time of year can affect production and shipping times; such as Christmas, Valentine's day and Mother's day. Non personalized items typically ship within 24-48 hours. We make every effort to get every order out as quickly as possible.

I provided an incomplete/wrong address and my order is being returned. What do I do?

If you have any issues with your address, make sure to contact us as soon as possible by sending us an e-mail to orders@willowluna.com so that we can move swiftly to correct the problem. Please note that reshipping the order might incur in shipping costs and in the case a refund is requested a 30% non refundable fee will be taken.
